The brief was to depict the old generation of managers and executives who are still keeping their jobs, despite having one foot in the grave. They ‘Young’ generation need all the help they can get to be rid of them. Even divine intervention! ‘To the grace received, the young managers’ reads the red lettering.
Marco’s inspiration came from old ‘ex voto’, small devotional paintings which were made and placed in churches by worshippers who felt they had been helped out of trouble by a saint, the Holy Virgin or God himself!
Not surprisingly, the campaign received an award from the Italian Art Directors Club. Nice one Marco!
