Tim Hutchinson has been writing and illustrating his own book for the last couple of years. Not the easiest of tasks when you’re as busy as Tim is with other work. As you know, writing your own book is only half the job and, to be perfectly honest, pretty pointless unless it gets published. But Tim’s never been one to give up that easily and his perseverance finally paid off when Dylan’s Day was taken up by US publisher, Pinwheel Books.
We’ve loved this story from day one when Tim showed us the rough sketches! Quite why no British publisher ever picked up on it will remain a mystery, but their loss is Pinwheels gain.
Well done Tim. You deserve it.
