Lyn Stone, that’s who. Book covers, that’s what and right now, that’s when.

These three books have just been published by Templar Publishing – hurrah! Even better they’ve used Lyn’s artwork on the front covers. There are another twenty books in the series, with Lyn being the main illustrator. That should keep her out of mischief for  a while!

The books are reference books aimed at five to seven year old children, and have lift-the-flap and peek through elements that will appeal to a younger reader.

All the artwork had to be created against a white background, so the illustrations could be dropped into the spreads where they wanted them and against coloured backgrounds, etc.

These illustrations were rendered using acrylic based inks.
