Daniel Morgenstern was commissioned by Israels most popular newspaper, Yediot Achronot to create a portrait of Stanley Fisher, Governor of the Bank of Israel. Yedioy Achronot is the Israeli equivalent of the UK’s daily Mail. It’s print run virtually doubles at the weekend. Daniel received a call on Wednesday afternoon for the commission. The deadline for completion was mid day Thursday! The whole interaction between artist and client took place in under 24 hours. Now, Daniel’s work is pretty labour intensive as you can see, but when it comes to pulling out all the stops – Morgenstern delivers!
