Nathalie Ortega has been commissioned to illustrate a book to let all children know more about Asperger Syndrome and the kids who are diagnosed with it. It tells the story of a boy with Asperger’s who is bullied at school by another boy who, in a dream, gets into an Asperger’s world, takes his place and finally understands all the difficulties of an Asperger boy.

Asperger Syndrome is one of the Autistic Spectrum Disorders and affects 8 of each 1000 children. Here’s a small selection of Nathalie’s images from El Sueño de Andrés (‘Andy’s Dream’).
